Serum proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines are increased in children and adolescents with obesity. IL-8, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-10, MCP-1 and IP-10 serum levels were measured by flow cytometry using a Legendplex multiplex assay (n = 19 for obese group, n = 18 for lean group).
